By default, Windows XP Service Pack 2 blocks all ActiveX installations. In order to install the Terminal Services ActiveX web client on Windows XP SP2, you need to add www.cvilleschools.com to your Trusted Sites in Internet Explorer.
To Add http://www.cvilleschools.com to Trusted Sites in IE:
1. Open Internet Options in IE from the Tools Menu.
2. Click the Security Tab in the Internet Options window.
3. Select Trusted Sites.
4. Click the Sites button.
5. Type http://www.cvilleschools.com in the text field called 'Add this Web Site...'
6. Make sure the "Required server verication" box is NOT checked.
6. Click the Add button in the Trusted Sites window.
7. Click the Ok button in the Trusted Sites window.
8. Click the Ok button in the Internet Options window.
* Vista Users
Due to added security on Vista machines, you most use the Remote Desktop Connection that came with your Vista Operating System. To access it you most go to start, All programs, and then accesories. Click on Remote Desktop Connection. If you get a box asking about Connecting to an older version then Vista click ok and it will let you in to the Terminal Server.
