Information About My Classes
Work readiness is a program that takes students out into the world of work in area businesses. Sherry Bunch is the job coach who trains them on work related behaviors and observes them throughout the semester. Behaviors that we target are those that any employer would look for in an employee; time on task, attendance, punctuality, appearance, time on task, quality and quantity of work produced, work place attitude, getting along with coworkers, and safety. It is our hope that students will develop these skills so that they can find part time work while in high school and full time employment as adults.

Information About Me
As Inclusion Facilitator, it is my job to set up IEP meetings with parents/guardians, assist in assessment and developing the IEP, schedule students into classes that will meet graduation requirements, help students develop transitional goals for after high school, provide information about other agencies that could provide support to the student/family, provide paraprofessional support in general education classes for those who need it, work with student one-on-one, and do behavioral interventions before the student has to be sent to the vice- principal. I work closely with all teachers, general and special education, to ensure that the students are getting the skills, accommodations, and modifications that are documented in their IEP’s. I encourage parents and students to come to me when they are having a concern or a problem so that together we can make school a pleasurable atmosphere for everyone.
