Welcome to the Coffeyville USD #445 website. We want you to experience our district to the fullest extent by providing quality information that is focused on our students.
Over the past decade the Coffeyville School District, along with many other school districts across the United States, has raised standards and expectations for student achievement. To support the implementation of these higher academic standards, significant investment has been made in staff professional development, new instructional materials, high school, middle school, and elementary school restructuring (Literacy First Process), and other steps to create more effective environments for teaching and learning. Kansas Commissioner of Education, Alexa Posny, and Deputy Commissioner, Diane DeBacker, along with several other Kansas State Department of Education members visited Coffeyville on Oct. 13, 2008. While in Coffeyville, they visited the FACS room & Career Tech Education classrooms at Field Kindley High School, the Age-to-Age Learning Classroom at Windsor Place and the largest elementary school in Kansas- Community Elementary.
