Copyright law and fair use is extremely important as technology becomes more and more prevalent in our society. Many times students don't understand why they can't copy and paste, download, or plagiarize their work. As teachers, it is imperative that we instruct them in the proper use of source material. We must also set a good example for our students by following copyright law and fair use guidelines in our everyday lives.
