It is the practice of USD 445 to advertise for, and keep in reserve, applicant pools of like positions.  It is for this reason that your application for a specified position will be kept on file for one fiscal year.  As applicants are interviewed for a particular position, should a like position come open within a reasonable length of time, USD 445 may return to the pool of individuals that were not hired during the original interview process in order to make a selection for employment.  This practice is sometimes preferred over re-advertising for the same position.
