• Who benefits the most from the intergenerational kindergarten—the elderly or the children?

The answer, of course, is that both generations benefit. The Grandmas and Grandpas fill their days with the energy of five-year old children and with purpose for getting up each morning. The kindergartners are surrounded by willing participants who have the time to offer academic, social, and emotional tools to the young learners with whom they interact each day. The friendship that is built between these diverse age groups of learners is truly a valuable bond.
