Below is a graph that shows the overall mill rates of the various taxing entities in the area. Pay partiular attention to the overall mill rate of the school district as it has essentially not changed over the past 10 years. Sure, there have been fluctuations, but the overall change has been a decrease in the mill rate. The county and the city have both seen huge increase in the mill rate during the same time frame. The district's 2018 and 2019 actually decreased the mills to the lowest in 10 years.
