Amanda M. Cavaness graduated Magna Cum Laude  from Pittsburg State University in December of 2004. In 2016, she was the recipient of the Newman University School of Education Outstanding Graduate Award for the ESOL Curriculum & Instruction Program and graduated with Honors with a certificate in building leadership.

I love the Early Learning Center with all my heart and am so proud of what we are able to achieve in partnership with our community. I value our partners and hope that all communities can someday have the opportunity that Coffeyville has. We are able to prepare all children with high quality preschool through development of social emotional skills, academics, physical development, healthy habits, and the ability to learn and grow!!! We are in the business of making dreams come true… one preschool story at a time!!!"

 I am very happily married to the love of my life, whom I met in kindergarten! My husband, Josh has been a Firefigter Paramedic for 15 years and starts a new adventure as a Flight Medic this fall. We have 2 children. Our daughter, Audrey, loves ballet and tap dancing and our son, Jefrey loves Minecraft and legos. Audrey and Jefrey both love playing with our puppy Embers.

 In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and I cherish the opportunity to have new experiences together. I also love old movies and jazz music.  I would probably not be found in the kitchen cooking!
