I have been active in education for 34 years.  Twenty two years ago I was offered a job as a first grade teacher and fell in love with teaching chlldren to read. It has become my passion in education.  My husband and I were born and raised in the Coffeyville area and raised our three children in this school system.  We are now enjoying our six grandchildren. They remind me how precious each little child is and how different each one learns and develops. I look forward to this school year and watching each child grow and develop.
