In our visit to Coffeyville we were overwhelmed with the progress being made to assure the success of each student. This is not happening in isolated spots in the district, but it is a systemic process that was seen throughout the district. There is great community collaboration and involvement with the school district and the citizens of Coffeyville have many reasons to be justly proud of the great work being done to assure that each student can achieve success. The members of the Kansas State Board of Education consider it a privilege to have spent time in Coffeyville earlier this week and were extremely impressed and excited to see the great things taking place daily in your schools.Jim Porter, Chairman of the Kansas State Board of Education

The Dr. Jerry Hamm Early Learning Center of Coffeyville has one of the most diverse populations, the third lowest average family income, parents with the least education and the greatest percentage of gains compared to other sites in the longitudinal study. The scores were above the statewide ECBG averages with significant improvement over the school year.Dr. Lynn Schrepferman, PhD WSU Senior Research Scientist
