It is with great honor and excitement that I introduce myself, Angie Krause, as the new Principal at Community Elementary.  My passion for education and supporting the success of all students has been shaped over the past 27 years as an elementary teacher, Title I teacher, Instructional Coach, Teacher Specialist and Principal.  My teaching career began in Houston, TX. I graduated from the University of Houston in 1993 and taught for Spring Branch ISD for 10 years.  I moved to Bartlesville, OK in 2003 and have been with Bartlesville Public Schools for the last 17 years.  During my time at Bartlesville I have served as a classroom teacher, Title I teacher, Instructional Coach, ELL Coordinator, Teacher Specialist, and Principal.  

I have two precious sons and a daughter in law.  Austin and Katlin got married in December. Austin graduated in May from OSU with his BS and is continuing on to obtain his masters degree.  Katlin graduated in May from OSU with her masters degree and is continuing on to obtain her PhD. Tyler just completed his first year at OSU. 

My number one priority at Community is to ensure that every student receives the best education and has a safe environment to learn in. Community teachers and administrators are top-notch educators and I’m so excited to work with such a great staff.  Most importantly, an excellent education is not possible without the collaboration of staff, students and parents. I look forward to meeting all of my Community students and parents. I am also very excited to be part of this fantastic Coffeyville community!
