Hi! I am Mrs. Rains and this is my second year at Roosvelt Middle School serving as the assistant athletic director and social studies teacher.  This year marks my 20th year teaching, previously in USD 409 Atchison and USD 437 Caney Valley.  Through the years I have taught 7-12th grades and many subject areas.  I coached for 18 years during my career, working with volleyball, basketball and track programs in both of my previous disticts.  

I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors with my husband and pets. I love working with students to see their growth in the classroom and through activities.
